HOW WE WORK

Editorial standards

Our aim is to make tool discovery clearer: explain who a product may suit, what to check before choosing it, and where its limitations matter.

Research and sources

We prioritise official product documentation, help centres, pricing pages, terms and release notes for details about features, availability, limits and plans. Where a claim depends on third-party reporting or independent testing, we aim to identify that source and distinguish it from the provider's own claims.

Product features, prices, plan names and availability can change. We include a review date where practical and encourage readers to confirm important details with the provider before purchasing.

How comparisons are made

Commercial relationships

At present, ToolNest has no active affiliate partnerships, paid placements or sponsored listings. Links to providers are ordinary links unless a page clearly says otherwise.

If we join an affiliate programme or accept sponsorship in the future, we will disclose the relationship clearly near relevant links or recommendations and on our affiliate disclosure page. Commercial relationships will not determine editorial conclusions, and paid placement will not be presented as an independent recommendation.

Corrections and updates

If you notice an inaccurate feature description, outdated plan detail, broken link or missing context, please contact us through the Contact page. We will review credible corrections and update content when appropriate.

What this site is not

ToolNest is an independent discovery resource. It is not affiliated with the companies whose products are discussed. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Our content is general information, not legal, financial, security or professional advice.

Our principle: A recommendation should help a reader make a better decision, even if that means telling them not to buy or subscribe.
